Jintri's Story:
I am from Afghanistan. Because the Taliban took over my country and our lives weren't safe, I flew to the United States on August 29, 2021, to save my families future. I share a home with 11 family members. But I had to leave my parents and siblings back home in Afghanistan I enjoy cooking for my family and friends, and I learned that Afghani bread is unique in taste and contains a variety of rich flavors that represent our culture. This meal reminds me of baking it with my mother and sister. In my home country, we bake it every day as a necessary item for our table and to be served with every meal. To share some of the necessities for our meal, I wish to share it with others.
